September 17, 2008

What’s is new about Capiz? What makes it captivating in many people around the country of the Philippines?

Capiz is one of the captivating place in the country of the Philippines and it is called “Sea Food Capital of the Philippines” because of its aboundance in Sea Foods. The primary source of income of the people in the Province of Capiz is fishing and farming. The combined natural bounty of land and sea are enough to sustain a vibrant food industry. It is one of the major suppliers of prawn and milk fish. The rich fishing grounds attract investors to venture into prawn culture, prawn feed manufacture, seaweed farming and the distribution and processing of other marine products.

There are so many captivating Capiz landmarks that most of the people are not aware of. Some landmaks in Capiz can consider as touristspot because of its beauty. Some of captivating landmarks are caves, historic places, churches, falls and other landmarks in Capiz. Surely you can say that it is a promising land because of its beauty and abundance of resources.

There are many customs and traditions that until now Capizeño are still practicing, such as festivals, supertitions beliefs and othe traditions that some of our elders patronizing. There’s no other place like Capiz and I my self is proud to be a Capizeño.
