Gwendoline Ruais has been crowned as the 2011 Miss World Philippines during the pageant coronation night last Sunday, September 18, 2011. It was held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila.

This was the First Miss World Philippines pageant in the Philippines. The 21 year old Gwendoline Ruais will represent our country for the Upcoming Miss World 2011 Pageant to be held this coming November 6 at the Earls Court Exhibition Center in London, England.

Ruias, also won some titles including Best in Swimsuit, bested 24 other contestants. She also receive P 1M peso cash prize, a GMA Artist Center Management Contract and a condominum unit in the Sea Residences from SMDC.

Meanwhile, Helen Nicolette Henson and Martha Chloe McCulley were named 1st and 2nd princess, respectively.
